People are still being shocked to learn the term “natural manicurist” is actually not a real word.
But experts are now saying it may be a term that’s misunderstood, and that’s why it may hurt their feelings.
Dr. Jill E. Smith, a registered nurse in New York City and director of the Women’s Health Clinic at New York University’s Langone Medical Center, says the word is not as harmless as it is sometimes portrayed.
“I would never say that it’s not a good thing to be manicured, but it is a little bit scary because we’ve all been in the manicure business,” she says.
“It’s been over 100 years of the idea that manicures are manicures, and it’s time to put it behind us.”
Dr. Smith says many people think it’s important to have manicures.
“It’s a way to keep people happy and healthy, so it’s an important part of the whole manicure process,” she explains.
“People think they have to have this manicure to get a job, but there are a lot of other reasons why you could have a manicured look, too.”
And then there are other reasons for having a natural, non-medicated look.
There’s also a lot to be said for being healthy.
“While some people believe it’s a great way to stay youthful and look great, others believe it can cause damage.
Dr Smith says she’s noticed a shift in attitudes in the past year or so.”
Some people who are very into their manicure are very concerned about whether it’s going to make them look better and feel better, and whether it will make them feel less depressed and less stressed,” she adds.”
But people who feel their job is less stressful and less important are very attracted to it.
“There’s a lot that goes into it.
People are saying, ‘I’m not doing it to look good, I’m doing it because I’m trying to feel better,’ and that sort of thing.”
She says the way people look when they’re in the office or on the beach is more important than the way they look when working.
But you need to be able to wear makeup because that’s what people expect you to wear, not just what you want to wear.””
There’s also this idea that people should be natural.
But you need to be able to wear makeup because that’s what people expect you to wear, not just what you want to wear.”
What does ‘natural’ mean?
As part of a wellness program, Dr. Smith recommends that people check their skin with a non-nano dye and a moisturizer.
“You’re going to notice that when you get a good, healthy, natural look, you’re more likely to maintain that look and maintain a positive self-image, as well as feel better,” she recommends.
“When you’re feeling insecure or have low self-esteem, you might feel like, ‘Oh, my God, I can’t do this.’
And you might not have the confidence to do something that you’re really not good at.”
She also recommends taking a natural shower.
“When you go in there, it’ll be a very natural, refreshing shower,” she advises.
Dr Laila Smith, owner of the New York salon, says she also encourages clients to use an oil cleanser to help cleanse their skin, and uses a moisturizing spray to cover up and protect against the sun’s harmful rays.
“We have the most natural natural-looking clients in the whole salon, because we’re always making sure that we’re making sure we’re putting a lot into the spa,” she admits.
“If people aren’t doing that, I think it makes it hard to be happy.”
Dr Smith has seen an increase in the number of clients requesting her help to find natural treatments to help them achieve their wellness goals.
“At the beginning, we had a lot people who were really upset and upset about their looks, so we’re trying to make sure that they have the opportunity to feel like they are natural,” she tells Fortune.
“What we really try to do is to educate people about the benefits of using products that are natural, and to give them a sense of confidence and the ability to go in and do it.”
Dr Laminah Smith says clients also want to know that they are not the only ones who can have the same natural look.
“You can do it, but the question is whether you can get it done naturally or not,” she suggests.
“We want to make people feel like it’s possible.”
What else does “natural” mean?
There are many different types of natural haircuts, so the term doesn’t have a precise definition, but Dr Smith says it’s generally referring to something that’s natural, natural, healthy and natural.
For example, a natural haircut might involve cutting a short, thin, healthy straight hair on the side.
